Mobile QA Engineer (Android & iOS – Native Applications) – Remote Opportunity
Madar Software is currently hiring a Mobile QA Engineer to join their team and contribute to testing native Android and iOS applications. The role is based in Alexandria, Egypt, with a remote work option available.
About the Role
The company is working on a mobile application focused on women’s health, including pregnancy and menstrual cycle tracking. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of how native mobile applications behave across different scenarios and environments.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze software requirements and system design for clarity and testability.
Identify gaps, edge cases, and potential risks in requirements.
Design, write, and maintain high-quality test cases.
Execute manual testing for native Android and iOS applications.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues.
Test applications across different devices, OS versions, and environments.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Report and track bugs clearly using Jira.
Verify fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably mobile applications.
Good understanding of mobile application lifecycle and states.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
Solid knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing processes.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
CT-MAT Mobile Application Testing certification is a plus.
